COVID-19 Response

We are so excited to welcome you back to Smithville Dental Centre! We sincerely hope to find you and your family to be in excellent health and good spirit!
We are thrilled to inform you that Dr. Kulyk and his wonderful team are once again able to provide safe and quality treatment for you and your family while adhering to all current protocols that have recently been implemented by the RCDSO, ODHA, Public Health Ontario, and the Ministry of Health. Our commitment to your health and safety has reamained our number one priority.
We have spent a great deal of time carefully planning and updating our protocols and the functionality of our office.
Once you enter the waiting room you will be asked to sanitize your hands and complete our Covid 19 questionnaire and have your temperature taken. We will only be seeing patients who screen Covid 19 negative. If you screen Covid 19 positive we will simply postpone your appointment until you are well. If you are Covid 19 positive and have a dental emergency please inform our team so we can provide you with further instruction on how we will accomodate your needs.
We ask that you bring a mask with you to your appointment to wear while you are in the public areas of the building. In order to properly practice social distancing we ask that only the patient having treatment that day come into the office. If the patient does require assistance, then parents or guardians will also be required to bring a mask to wear when entering the building and accompanying you to your appointment.
You will notice that our staff and our office have gone through some changes to follow the current guidelines and keep everyone healthy and safe.
You will now be greeted by our reception staff that is safely sitting behind a plexi glass divider.
Our operatories are temporarily closed off from each other to reduce the spread of aerosols and each operatory has a medical grade Hepa filter to help efficiently clean the air during, and after each procedure.
Our clinical staff is also wearing more PPE where necessary.
We have worked very hard to provide the safest and yet maintain a comfortable environment for you and our team. We are so happy to welcome you back! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call us, we are happy to answer them for you.
